Corrections and listing removal

We want every listing to be accurate. If something about a business is wrong, tell us and we'll check it.

How to ask

• Call 1-800-481-8638, or email [legal email: to be added].
• Include the listing link (it looks like provehound.com/pro/business-name/), what's wrong, and any proof (for example the official license record).
• Business owners can also claim the listing to correct contact details themselves.

What we do

• We aim to reply within 5 business days.
• If you show a likely error, we can hide the disputed item while we check.
• Unverified listings (public business data we haven't checked): the owner can ask us to remove the listing. We'll remove it once you show you control the business phone, email or website.
• Government records: we fix our copy and our matching, but we can't change a state's record. To correct that, contact the issuing agency. We re-check state records on a schedule; a state license stops counting if it hasn't been re-checked in 10 days.
